El rito sueco es Trabajado pricipalmente en Suecia, Noruega, Dinamarca, Finlandia e Islandia.
Anillo del Rito Sueco
La filosofía moral del rito sueco fue desarrollada por el Duque Karl que más tarse se conirtió en el Rey Karl XIII que sucedió a Eckleff como Gran maestre.
Este Rito experimentó dos revisiones rituales muy importantes en 1780 y 1800 creando un sistema masónico lógico con diez grados.

La peculieriariedad del grado XI "Most Enlightened Brother, Knight Commander of the Red Cross"
Hay aproximadamente 60 masones que tienen este grado atualmente.
En 1811 el Rey Karl estableció la orden real de King Karl XIII. Es una orden civil. otorgado por el Rey, solamente a francmasones del grado xI con un número limitado a 33.
No es, sin embargo, un grado masónico.

Note that the regalia are incomplete for the Master Mason: the missing item is a standard top hat. Note also that the carpenter's square 'jewel' does not signify a Worshipful Master; it is an integral part of the Master Mason's apron. Finally, in contrast to all other degrees, the apron of the Apprentice is worn with its flap up, in the style of a stonemason at work.
