The truth of Fidel Castro, and his plan on bringing the Revolution to the Cuban people. This story is taken from Joanna Helberg, who grew up in Havana her whole life. Her father was councilman of Havana, and had to leave due to Castro. Freshman Film's "Escape Cuba: 1961 The Documentary" was made to interpret and provide a life story of a civilian living in Cuba during the Revolution. Narrated by Joanna's granddaughter, herself, she hopes her story portrays an everlasting touch of faith, trust, and hope.
